Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Siargao Craft Studio. By participating in any of our workshops — whether in silversmithing or pottery — you agree to the following terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to read this document in full before attending a session.

Liability Waiver

All workshops involve the use of tools, materials, and processes that carry inherent risks. By joining, paying for, and participating in any workshop, you voluntarily assume all risks and agree to release Siargao Craft Studio, its instructors, and venue partners from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

GENERAL TERMS

  • Strictly No Refunds
No refunds will be issued for any reason, including cancellations, no-shows, or unforeseen circumstances, regardless of cause, as materials and preparation are secured in advance. If you are unable to attend, refunds will not be issued. Rescheduling may be offered at the instructor’s discretion and subject to availability.

  • Punctuality
Please arrive on time. Workshop durations are fixed, and we cannot extend the session for latecomers.

  • Safety & Responsibility
You are responsible for your own safety and belongings. Siargao Craft Studio, instructors, and venue partners are not liable for injuries caused by tool or equipment misuse or for any lost, misplaced, or stolen items.

  • Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who does not follow safety protocols or declines to sign the physical waiver form. No refunds will be given in such cases.

  • Minors (Under 18)
Participants must be 18 years old to join. If you are under 18, you are responsible for informing us. A parent or legal guardian’s verbal or written consent is required. We may request proof at any time.

  • Privacy & Media Use
We may take photos and videos during workshops for social media and promotional use. If you do not wish to appear in any content, please let us know before the session begins — we completely respect your privacy.

Silversmithing involves the use of torches, open flames, and sharp tools. Please follow all safety instructions closely.

Safety Guidelines

  1. Heat & Fire
Always follow instructor guidance when using torches. Never leave a lit torch unattended.

  2. Tool Handling
Use tools only as directed. Ask for help if unsure.

  3. Work Area Awareness
Keep your space organized. Avoid flammable materials near your station. Maintain safe distances from others.

  4. Medical Conditions
Disclose any health issues, allergies, or sensitivities that may affect your participation.

  5. Personal Accountability
If you feel uncomfortable at any time, inform the instructor right away.

Post-Workshop

    • Participants take their handcrafted jewelry home after the session.

    • Before leaving, please inspect your item to ensure it is wearable and comfortable.

    • We cannot guarantee adjustments or repairs after you have left the venue.

    • All items are handcrafted by beginners and may have slight imperfections — this is part of their charm and uniqueness

We are always looking to improve. After your session, we’d love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or reflections. Reach out to us at siargaocraftstudio@gmail.com.

Thank you for supporting island creativity and local livelihoods.
